Amer Fort and Palace- the crowning jewel of Jaipur
Located atop an easily descendable hill, overlooking the beautiful man made Maota Lake. The complex is made of red sandstone and marble in Rajput style architecture and some influences of Mughal architecture and houses various palaces, temples and structures. The fort is visited by tourists from all around the world throughout the year. The elaborate complex is divided into four sections with their own courtyards. Built by Raja Man Singh in the 10th century, its geographical location makes it a serene getaway for visitors. This is a must visit on your Jaipur tour package.

Jaigarh Fort- Fort of victory
Built by Sawai Jai Singh in 1726 AD to provide protection to the Fort of Amer. This majestic fort stands 400m above Amer Fort on Cheel ka Teela, literally meaning eagle’s hill. Its geographical location on the edge of Aravali ranges gives a breathtaking view from the top. It is also home to the then biggest cannon on wheels called “Jaivana”. There are various other attractions like Laxmi Vilas, Lalit Mandir, Aram Mandir and Vilas Mandir. It would be a nice addition to your sightseeing if you visit Amer Fort due to close proximity.

Nahargarh Fort- Defence ring of the pink city
Built mainly in 1734 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh and renovated by the kings that followed. Though the fort has not faced any attacks throughout its history, it makes a rigid defense ring on the ridge of the city. Made as a retreat for the royal family to escape the heat of summers, the fort has been part of some historical events. Originally named as “Sudershan Garg '' literally meaning “abode of tigers”. Nahargarh offers breathtaking views with the serenity of the Aravali ranges making it one of the best tourist places of Rajasthan.

Chittorgarh Fort- the epitome of sacrifice
One of the most significant locations to see in Chittorgarh is the fort. The pride of the Rajasthani town, this medieval fort sits imposingly atop a hill, guardingly looking down over the city. The fort is where the majority of Chittorgarh's attractions are located. The Chittorgarh Fort is a huge edifice that was initially constructed in the 7th century and occupies a space of about 700 acres. This UNESCO World heritage site is the capital of Mewar and attracts thousands of tourists from around the world due to its rich history of patriotism and heroism, making it a splendid addition to your Rajasthan tour package.

The palaces of Rajasthan, including the 1500-year-old City Palace in Udaipur, tell the tales of the former monarchs. Alternatively, there is the Neemrana Fort Palace, which is so opulent and regal that it has been transformed into a heritage resort. A visit to these magnificent buildings in Rajasthan will undoubtedly be an unforgettable experience.
