Nahargarh Fort- Defence ring of the pink city 
Built mainly in 1734 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh and renovated by the kings that followed. Though the fort has not faced any attacks throughout its history, it makes a rigid defense ring on the ridge of the city. Made as a retreat for the royal family to escape the heat of summers, the fort has been part of some historical events. Originally named as “Sudershan Garg '' literally meaning “abode of tigers”. Chittorgarh Fort- the epitome of sacrifice
