We provide professional English speaking tour guides for individual or group tours of India.

For those who wish to get the most out of their Indian experience we recommend an itinerary that includes an accompanying tour guide.

Your tour guide will stay with you throughout your tour whether you are travelling by vehicle, train or plane. This assists with a smooth journey, allowing your guide to learn your preferences and to anticipate your needs, delivering a more personalised experience.

All our guides are degree qualified, some holding post-graduate qualifications. They have extensive knowledge of Indian history and culture. So if you are interested in knowledge such as marriage customs, religion, history or current affairs, your guide will enjoy discussing this with you.

How much interaction you have with your guide is up to you. Some of our clients like to have the guide available to assist at check in and during sightseeing, but then prefer to spend time by themselves exploring. Other clients appreciate having someone with them to help with local interactions such as shopping or in restaurants.

For us your safety and enjoyment is paramount. We will advise you where there may be security issues and will share with you our favourite shops, cafes and restaurants.

A tour guide will travel and accompany the guests throughout the tour. A tour guide in India must have a valid guiding license from the Government of India, where they have to compete an exam and undergo 6 months theoretical and practical training.

An accompanying tour guide or escort will assist you with check-in / check-out at the hotels, as well as guide you through and explain the history of monuments, places, culture, traditions and customs of the Indian people. A tour guide will be at your disposal throughout the tour. The tour guide's fee will always include costs for their accommodation and food.

With over 22 years experience in the India tourism market, Manu is a licensed guide for entire India and has a bachelor's degree in history and political science and a Master's degree in Tourism Administration from Jodhpur University. Manu looks after operations and sales of the company. Guiding has been a true passion for Manu and when is available he still guides guests to different parts of India.

Hariom hails from Jaipur the capital of Rajasthan. Before joining IPT he worked with several reputed hotels as Manager operations. Hariom now look after day to day operations of company. He has vast knowledge of hotels in India. He also co-ordinates with local supplier, tour guides and drivers. He is the one who is responsible for quality check and upgrading our services. When not working in office he accompanying the guests as a private tour guide.

Gulab Singh

A native of Rajasthan Gulab holds master's degree in history. He speaks fluent English and German. Before becoming integral part of IPT Team he worked for many reputed travel companies in India. He has extensively travelled in India and his knowledge about hotels, routes; new itineraries always stand apart when it comes to operating a tour. He has extremely good contacts with hoteliers in Rajasthan. He is brutally honest and transparent in dealing with our valued guests. Gulab has 15 years of experience as a tour guide and has accompanied guests mainly from Germany, USA, UK and Australia.

Narendra Changani

Narendra hails from Jaisalmer. He has Masters in English literature and Bachelors degree in History and Political Science. He has profound knowledge of Indian culture, history and architecture. He has been working for last 22 years. He also speaks French.

Amit Jha

Amit has been working with IPT since 2015. Before joining India Personal Tours he had worked with some reputaed tour operators in India. Amit has been an assest for the company. Hailing from city of Taj, Agra he is a licensed tour guide from Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Amit has been leading small groups and individuals especially from UK, USA, Australia and Canada. He is friendly, caring and with great sense of humour. He loves taking photos and our guests always appreciate his photography skills. his favourite places to visit in India are Jaisalmer and Marari beach in Kerala.

Nirmal Singh

Nirmal is in his 20’s and is passionate about Indian history. He has a degree in History and also holds Diploma in French language. He is from Jodhpur and has 5 years guiding experience.

Kunal Singh

Kunal is a young and dynamic tour guide in team IPT. He is from pink city of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Kunal has done Bachelor of Computer Science from Jaipur. He is so passionate to learn languages, and this prompted him to learn German language from Goethe institute from Pune, India. He has travelled extensively in Rajasthan and South India. When free he helps the reservation team in IPT office to go through bookings and other operational aspects of tour operation. Kunal is expert in cultural tours, hiking tours, Royal Enfield motorcycle tours and historical tours in India.
