Arrival in Chennai 

When you arrive at Chennai International Airport, our representative will welcome you with a placard bearing your name and take you to your hotel. Today, only an airport shuttle is covered, with no further sightseeing or visits scheduled or included. If you arrive in Chennai early in the morning and want to go sightseeing, let us know, and we will make arrangements to include a visit to Chennai's landmarks and monuments. Overnight in a Chennai hotel. 

Chennai - Trichy - Tanjore 

After breakfast, go sightseeing in Chennai. Visit India's largest beach Marina and the Fort St George Museum, which houses paintings, coins, guns, ceramics, and silverware. Visit the Kapaleeshwar Temple as well. Drive to Chennai airport to catch your flight to Trichy. You will take a car to Tanjore when you arrive at Trichy airport. Arrive at Tanjore and check into your hotel. Your luxurious hotel stay: CGH Earth or Svatma Mantra Koodam.

Tanjore visit: the great living Chola Temple - Chronicles in Stone

After breakfast, visit Tanjore's great live Chola temple, established in 1010 AD. The most amazing feature of this temple is a Kumbam', a bulbous structure atop the tower fashioned out of one rock that weighs about 80 tonnes and is regarded as a showcase of the period's architectural prowess. The temple walls are adorned with large and magnificent murals. A bronze casting centre was later visited. The master sculptors will demonstrate each step of the bronze casting technique. They will demonstrate how a bronze sculpture is created from the original wax phase. In the evening, return to your hotel. Your luxurious hotel stay: CGH Earth or Svatma Mantra Koodam.

Tanjore - Madurai

Drive to Madurai after breakfast. Arrive at your hotel and check-in. Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace was afterward visited. It was constructed in 1635 AD. It was designed by an Italian architect as the king's home. Then you will travel to the world-famous Meenakshi temple. It is also one of the most visited temples in India. You will witness the Hall of Thousand Pillars, which is thought to have been built from a single rock. There are twelve tall Gopurams [towers]. Another intriguing element of this brilliant temple is the presence of about 33000 statues. Return to the hotel for the night. Stay in luxurious hotels like Heritage Madurai or The Gateway Hotel Pasumalai.

Madurai - Periyar 

Drive to Periyar after breakfast. Arrive at your hotel and check-in. Enjoy a Jeep trip to adjacent locations while rolling across the gorgeous green meadows. Through this safari, you will also have the opportunity to experience Kerala's village scenes and interiors. Return to the hotel for the night. Stay at Spice Village CGH Earth, Niraamaya Retreats, or Reen Resorts Aanavilasam Plantation Thekkady.

Periyar

experience Bamboo Rafting and Trekking in the Morning: You will experience rafting and trekking through the pure rivers and beautiful forest of Periyar Tiger Reserve. You may also have the opportunity to see wildlife up close. A single raft may accommodate a maximum of five people. Visit Abraham's spice garden in the late afternoon. You will be given thorough information on the cultivation of spices. Abraham's family runs this completely organic spice garden. Instead of pesticides, the family uses natural ways. The rest of the day is free for leisure, overnight stay in a luxury hotel.

Periyar - Munnar 

After breakfast, drive from Munnar to Thekkady, taking in the stunning scenery. This trip also takes you by numerous wonderful slopes, tea manors, tea production lines, cardamom residences, and so on, as well as a few amazing little falls. Your tour guide or driver will be pleased to stop along the way to capture shots of the breathtaking scenery and sights. When you arrive at Munnar, check into your hotel. The rest of the day is free. Munnar

After breakfast, go to Munnar. Eravikulam National Park, one of Kerala's earliest national parks, is worth a visit. Located in the Western Ghats mountain range. It is home to a diverse range of exotic flora and animals, including leopards, sambar deer, golden jackal, wild dogs, stripe-necked mongoose, small-clawed otter, and dusky palm squirrel, as well as a variety of bird species like as the black-and-orange flycatcher and Nilgiri wood pigeon.

Marari Beach

This tranquil beach, located 15 kilometres from the little town of Alleppey, is an ideal side trip for visitors heading to the backwaters south of Cochin. The beach is a sight, with palm trees along the pristine white sand. Its quiet and clean quality, named after the tiny fishing village of Mararikulam, makes it ideal for leisure. The entire day is free. Stay the night at your hotel on Marari Beach. Stay at the Marari Beach Resort CGH Earth, Xandari Pearl Beach Resort, or Marari Villas.

Marari Beach - Cochin 

After breakfast, go to Cochin. Explore the Fort Kochi area. The region is an architectural pleasure with a mix of Dutch, Portuguese, and British heritage buildings. The Dutch Palace, Chinese fishing nets, St Francis Church, and the Jewish Synagogue [closed on Fridays, Saturdays, and Jewish holidays] will all be visited. Then take a tuk-tuk ride through Mattancherry, a busy historic spice market in Kochi. Hundreds of little shops cram into decaying buildings, and the air is thick with the pungent odours of ginger, cardamom, cumin, turmeric, and cloves. 

Cochin - abroad
