The Ideal Rajasthan Itinerary (North India Tour)

There is no doubt that Rajasthan deserves its popularity among Indian tourists: Rajasthan is unlike anywhere else in India in terms of colour, grandeur, contrast, and potential to impress. India Tour Rajasthan is one of the best tours in India, and we mentioned here the Ideal Rajasthan itinerary for you.

Highlights of the Rajasthan tour

11 days / ten nights (Delhi - Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Abhaneri - Jaipur - Pushkar - Udaipur - Ranakpur - Jodhpur - Bikaner - Fatehpur - Nawalgarh - Delhi)

Arrive in Delhi

On arrival at Delhi airport, our representative will pick you up and drop you at the pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay.

Delhi - Agra

Following breakfast, you will go on a sightseeing tour of New Delhi. Visit the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the President of India's official residence. The India Gate, located at the foot of Raisina Hill, is a war memorial arch created by Lutyen to honour the 60,000 men who perished in World War I. The Parliament House is the next visit; it was here that the constitution of independent India was drafted. Later, go to Qutub Minar, India's longest stone tower. Drive later by road travel to Agra. Arrive at the hotel and check-in. Overnight in Agra at a hotel.

Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Abhaneri - Jaipur

Explore the Taj Mahal first thing in the morning. Shah Jahan created it as a memorial to his late wife, and it is unquestionably the most romantic burial site in the world. Return to the hotel for breakfast before quickly visiting the Agra Fort. Drive to Jaipur after the visit. You'll pass through Fatehpur Sikri on the way. The great emperor Akbar established his capital here. He erected a splendid metropolis, but after only 40 years, the water supply became too difficult to maintain in this arid environment, so everyone packed up and moved on. It is now an eerie ghost city teeming with green parrots and monkeys. Continue driving towards Jaipur after the visit. You will stop in Abhaneri (Chand Baori/Stepwell).

Jaipur Sightseeing

Explore Pink City after breakfast. Jaipur is considered India's first planned city. Sawai Jai Singh II established Pink City in 1727. Jaipur has evolved into India's fashionable capital. Its stride has a slight snark about it. A silent strut. And it's all happening under the radar. Few towns in the world carry the weight of tradition while moving with the speed of cool. That is something Jaipur does. It swivels smoothly between the then and now. There are numerous tourist attractions in Jaipur. Our driver will take you to landmarks or places of interest based on your interests and desires. The Amber Fort, the Wind Palace (Hawa Mahal), the Water Palace (Jal Mahal), and the Birla Temple (Galtaji) are all worth seeing.

We propose taking a heritage walking trip in the Old City. Walking tours developed specifically for you will allow you to grasp the city better and see its hidden nooks. Your guide will lead you through the Old City's bustling bazaars and passageways. You may also engage with locals and sample some of Rajasthan's best street cuisine delicacies. In the evening, finish your journey by visiting the Govind Dev Ji Hindu temple close to the city palace. Return to the hotel for the overnight stay.

Jaipur - Pushkar

Drive to Pushkar after breakfast. Arrive at the hotel and check-in. Afternoon free for recreation. Visit the town and the lake in the evening. Overnight stay in a hotel in Pushkar for the night.

Pushkar - Udaipur

Drive to Udaipur in the morning. Arrive at the hotel and check-in. The rest of the day is at leisure at the hotel. In the evening, take a stroll around Udaipur's vivid market. Overnight stay in a hotel in Udaipur for the night.

Udaipur

After breakfast, depart for a city tour in Udaipur. The City Palace and Museum is considered Rajasthan's largest palace complex. The Pratap Memorial houses a bronze figure of Maharana Pratap, Udaipur's famed warrior king. Jagdish Temple was constructed in 1651 AD. Enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola in the late afternoon, passing various Ghats (banks) for washing, bathing, and other activities, as well as wonderful views of the Lake Palace and City Palace. Overnight in Udaipur at a hotel.

Udaipur - Ranakpur - Jodhpur

After breakfast, depart Udaipur for Jodhpur. En route, stop via Ranakpur to see the Jain temples. The cluster of temples, composed of finely sculpted white marble, is an architectural masterpiece. Given how well-preserved and dazzling the marble is, anyone would be surprised to hear that they were built in 1460. The main temple is supported by 1,444 pillars, none carved alike. Following the visit, continue driving to Jodhpur. Arrive at the hotel and check-in. Evening free for leisure. Overnight in Jodhpur at a hotel.

Jodhpur - Bikaner

Breakfast at the hotel, then tour the magnificent Jodhpur Fort erected in the 15th century. Rao Jodha, the founder of Jodhpur, erected this fort on a stony peak 400 feet above the surrounding plain. In this fort, you will see some of the most beautiful palaces. Drive to Bikaner after the visit. Visit the Karni Mata Rat Temple at Deshnok en route. Drive to Bikaner and see the Junagarh Fort. Take a tuk-tuk trip through the old city. Overnight in Bikaner at a hotel.

Bikaner - Fatehpur -Nawalgarh

After breakfast, depart towards Nawalgarh. Visit Fatehpur's Havelis (Mansions) on the way. Then continue your journey to Nawalgarh. Check into the Koolwal Kothi Hotel upon arrival. Overnight in Nawalgarh at a hotel.

Nawalgarh - Delhi

Visit the frescoed Havelis after breakfast. The painted Havelis of Nawalgarh and Mandawa, notably the Chowkhani Haveli, Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli, and Mohanlal Saraf Haveli, are owned by wealthy merchants, and the majority of the paintings and frescoes depict local deities and daily desert life. Drive to Delhi Airport after visiting Mandawa village, where your Tour of Rajasthan is finished.
