Tour Overview

Rajasthan Motorcycle Expedition

Ride Beyond the Roads. Experience the Soul of India.

There are road trips, and then there are journeys that leave a lasting mark on your life. This Rajasthan Motorcycle Expedition is designed for riders who want far more than spectacular scenery. It is an opportunity to immerse yourself in one of the world's most vibrant cultures while riding some of India's most unforgettable roads.

Over approximately 2,000 kilometres, you'll travel across the legendary state of Rajasthan, where ancient forts rise from desert landscapes, colourful villages preserve centuries-old traditions, and every day reveals a new story. From winding rural roads and hidden desert tracks to bustling markets and magnificent royal cities, this adventure offers a rare glimpse into the authentic spirit of India.

Your route includes many of Rajasthan's iconic destinations, including Jaipur, Pushkar, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Jawai and Udaipur. Each location offers its own unique character—whether it's the blue houses of Jodhpur, the golden sandstone architecture of Jaisalmer, the sacred atmosphere of Pushkar, the tranquil lakes of Udaipur or the dramatic wilderness surrounding Jawai.

The journey extends well beyond the famous landmarks. You'll ride through remote villages, meet local communities, experience regional cuisine, witness age-old traditions and enjoy countless unexpected moments that make travelling in India so rewarding. These genuine cultural encounters are what transform an ordinary motorcycle tour into an extraordinary life experience.

Adding to the adventure are two unforgettable wildlife safaris. Venture into the forests in search of the elusive Bengal Tiger before exploring the rugged granite landscape of Jawai, one of India's finest locations for spotting wild leopards living alongside local communities.

Throughout the expedition, you will be accompanied by an experienced team that combines international hospitality with unmatched local expertise. Every aspect of the tour—from accommodation and logistics to route planning and support—is carefully organised, allowing you to focus entirely on the ride and the experience.

The tour is led by Jonathan and Yasmeen, who have spent many years guiding transformative journeys throughout India. Their passion lies in creating meaningful travel experiences that blend adventure, culture and personal discovery.

Supporting the expedition is Mahindra (Manu) Singh, one of India's leading tour specialists with over two decades of experience designing and operating premium motorcycle and cultural tours across the country. Together with a trusted local team, they ensure seamless support from your arrival in Delhi until your departure home.

While this itinerary highlights the remarkable places you will visit, the true magic of Rajasthan cannot be planned. It is found in spontaneous conversations with villagers, shared cups of chai, children waving from roadside fields, spectacular desert sunsets, ancient temples, and the countless authentic moments that unfold naturally along the way.

This is more than a motorcycle holiday. It is an immersive cultural expedition that combines exceptional riding, remarkable wildlife, royal heritage and genuine human connection. Return home not only with incredible memories, but with a deeper understanding of India—and perhaps a different perspective on yourself.

Itinerary

Upon arrival in Jaipur, the vibrant capital of Rajasthan, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure, allowing you to relax after your journey or explore the surroundings at your own pace.

In the evening, meet your fellow riders and tour leaders for the first time as the group comes together for a memorable welcome dinner. This is a great opportunity to get to know the other participants, share travel experiences, and build camaraderie before the adventure begins.

Following dinner, your lead motorcycle tour guide will conduct a comprehensive tour briefing. The session will cover the itinerary, daily riding schedule, road conditions, safety guidelines, riding etiquette, hand signals, fuel stops, luggage arrangements, and support vehicle logistics. You will also receive important information about local traffic rules, cultural etiquette, and what to expect during the journey.

This informative and relaxed evening ensures everyone is well prepared, confident, and excited to begin an unforgettable motorcycle adventure through the incredible landscapes and cultural heritage of Rajasthan. Overnight in Jaipur.

Wake up to your first morning in the Pink City and enjoy a leisurely breakfast before setting out to explore some of Jaipur's most iconic landmarks. Begin with a photo stop at the magnificent Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), an architectural masterpiece with its intricately carved pink sandstone façade featuring hundreds of small windows, built to allow royal ladies to observe the bustling streets below while remaining unseen.

Continue to the majestic Amber Fort, one of Rajasthan's finest hilltop forts and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore its grand courtyards, beautifully decorated palaces, intricate mirror work, and impressive Rajput architecture while enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding hills and Maota Lake.

After your sightseeing, it's time to begin your motorcycle adventure as you ride towards the sacred town of Pushkar. Leaving the city behind, the landscape gradually transforms into the picturesque countryside of Rajasthan. The journey offers a wonderful glimpse into rural India, passing through traditional villages, vibrant local markets, open farmlands, and scenic stretches of rolling countryside. Along the way, you'll witness farmers working in their fields, shepherds tending their flocks, women dressed in colourful traditional attire, camel carts, and children waving as you ride past. These authentic encounters provide an unforgettable insight into the everyday life and rich culture of rural Rajasthan.

Arrive in Pushkar by evening  and check in to your hotel. The remainder of the evening is free to relax or take a leisurely walk through this charming pilgrimage town, famous for its sacred lake, colourful bazaars, and spiritual atmosphere. Overnight in Pushkar.

After a relaxed breakfast, begin today's rewarding ride towards Deogarh, a charming heritage town nestled in the picturesque Aravalli Hills. Far from the usual tourist trail, Deogarh offers an authentic glimpse into rural Rajasthan and is renowned for its magnificent palace, rich history, and peaceful surroundings.

Today's journey is a delightful combination of smooth national highways and quieter countryside roads. As you leave Pushkar behind, the scenery changes from open plains to rolling farmland dotted with traditional villages, small temples, and local markets. Along the route, you'll encounter colourful rural life, with farmers tending their crops, camel carts sharing the road, shepherds grazing their livestock, and friendly villagers going about their daily routines.

Midway through the ride, we will stop at a traditional roadside dhaba for lunch. These locally owned eateries are an integral part of India's road culture and provide an excellent opportunity to enjoy freshly prepared regional dishes while experiencing the warm hospitality for which Rajasthan is famous.

As you approach Deogarh, the landscape becomes increasingly scenic. The majestic Aravalli Hills, among the world's oldest mountain ranges, begin to dominate the horizon, and the roads become gently winding, offering an enjoyable and engaging riding experience. The route is well maintained, with good road conditions that make this one of the most pleasurable rides of the tour.

By late afternoon, arrive at the magnificent Deogarh Mahal, a beautifully restored 17th-century palace that still serves as the residence of the local royal family. Perched on a hill overlooking the town and surrounding countryside, the palace combines regal elegance with traditional Rajasthani hospitality. After checking in, relax and soak in the tranquil atmosphere or explore the palace's courtyards, terraces, and heritage interiors before enjoying dinner at the hotel.

Enjoy a relaxed morning at Deogarh Mahal with time at leisure to soak in the peaceful surroundings of this magnificent heritage palace. You may wish to stroll through the palace courtyards, admire the traditional architecture, or simply enjoy a leisurely breakfast while taking in the views of the Aravalli Hills.

Later, transfer to Khamlighat Railway Station to experience one of Rajasthan's most unique and memorable journeys aboard the historic meter-gauge train that winds its way through the spectacular Aravalli Hills to Phulad. Constructed during the British era, this remarkable railway line was built to connect the historic regions of Marwar and Mewar. Even today, it remains one of India's most scenic rail journeys, passing through rugged mountains, deep valleys, tunnels, bridges, and remote villages that are otherwise difficult to access.

As the train slowly meanders through the hills, keep an eye out for the resident wildlife. Troops of playful langur monkeys are often seen near the railway line and stations, curiously approaching the train in the hope of finding food. Watching these fascinating animals in their natural habitat adds a delightful touch to this unforgettable journey. The ever-changing landscapes, dramatic rock formations, lush valleys during the monsoon season, and panoramic mountain views make this a photographer's delight.

On arrival at Phulad, your motorcycles will be ready for you. Mount your bike and continue riding through the beautiful countryside towards the romantic city of Udaipur, often referred to as the City of Lakes. The route offers smooth roads and picturesque scenery, with the Aravalli Hills gradually giving way to tranquil lakes, charming villages, and rolling countryside.

Arrive in Udaipur by late afternoon and check in to your hotel. The remainder of the evening is at leisure to relax or take a stroll through the atmospheric streets of one of India's most beautiful and captivating cities.

After breakfast, begin your exploration of Udaipur, often referred to as the "City of Lakes" and one of India's most romantic destinations. Surrounded by the Aravalli Hills and adorned with magnificent palaces, tranquil lakes, and ornate temples, Udaipur offers a captivating blend of history, culture, and natural beauty.

Your first visit is to the magnificent City Palace, the largest palace complex in Rajasthan.

Continue to the beautiful Jagdish Temple, located just outside the City Palace. Dating back to the 17th century, this impressive Indo-Aryan temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is renowned for its finely carved pillars, sculpted ceilings, and detailed stonework.

Later, visit the serene Saheliyon Ki Bari (Garden of the Maidens), a delightful royal garden created for the queens and ladies of the royal household. Stroll through its lush lawns, marble pavilions, lotus pools, and charming fountains that provide a peaceful retreat from the bustling city.

In the late afternoon, proceed to Lake Pichola for a memorable boat cruise. Glide across the shimmering waters while admiring the breathtaking scenery surrounding the lake. Pass by the world-famous Lake Palace, seemingly floating on the water, as well as Jag Mandir Island Palace and the historic ghats lining the lake. The cruise offers some of the most spectacular views in all of Rajasthan, particularly as the sun begins to set.

After breakfast, leave behind the enchanting City of Lakes and begin one of the most scenic and rewarding rides of your motorcycle adventure. Today's journey takes you deep into the heart of the Aravalli Hills, where winding roads, breathtaking landscapes, and authentic rural Rajasthan combine to create an unforgettable riding experience.

The route is a motorcyclist's delight, featuring smooth tarmac, sweeping bends, gentle mountain roads, and peaceful countryside with very little traffic. Riding a Royal Enfield through this spectacular landscape is an experience in itself. Every turn reveals a new panorama of granite hills, forested valleys, traditional villages, and fertile farmland, making today's ride one of the highlights of the tour.

En route, visit the magnificent Ranakpur Jain Temple, one of India's finest architectural masterpieces and among the most important Jain pilgrimage sites in the country. Built during the 15th century, this extraordinary temple is renowned for its breathtaking craftsmanship, featuring 1,444 intricately carved marble pillars, each uniquely designed. The serene atmosphere and remarkable artistry make this one of Rajasthan's most impressive cultural treasures.

Continue your ride through the picturesque countryside as the landscape becomes increasingly rugged and dramatic. The Aravalli Hills provide a stunning backdrop while shepherds tend their flocks, local farmers work in the fields, and colourful villages offer a glimpse into Rajasthan's timeless rural way of life. There will be opportunities to pause for photographs and enjoy refreshments at local cafés or traditional roadside eateries.

By late afternoon, arrive in the remarkable wilderness of Jawai, one of India's best-kept secrets. Famous for its unique coexistence of people, livestock, and wild leopards, Jawai is a land of striking granite outcrops, tranquil reservoirs, and untouched natural beauty. Unlike conventional wildlife destinations, Jawai offers an authentic and uncrowded experience where nature and local communities have lived in harmony for generations.

Check in to your luxury camp or boutique lodge and unwind after a memorable day's ride. As the sun sets over the granite hills, relax with a cup of tea while enjoying the peaceful surroundings, preparing for the exciting wildlife experiences that await the following day.

Today's ride perfectly captures the spirit of Royal Enfield touring—spectacular roads, rich cultural heritage, dramatic landscapes, and the freedom of exploring Rajasthan at an unhurried pace. Overnight in Jawai.

Begin the day before sunrise with an exciting jeep safari in the rugged wilderness of Jawai, one of India's most remarkable leopard habitats. Accompanied by experienced naturalists, venture into the dramatic granite hills in search of the elusive Indian leopard, which is often spotted resting on rocky outcrops or moving gracefully through the landscape. Besides leopards, the region is home to blue bulls (nilgai), hyenas, jackals, crocodiles, numerous bird species, and a variety of other wildlife. The unique harmony between the local Rabari shepherd community and the resident leopards makes Jawai unlike any other wildlife destination in India.

Return to your lodge for a hearty breakfast before checking out and preparing for another memorable day in the saddle.

Today's ride is one of the longest of the tour, offering a wonderful blend of smooth highways and quieter countryside roads that showcase the changing landscapes of western Rajasthan. Ride through colourful villages, open farmland, rocky terrain, and eventually into the vast semi-arid plains of the Thar Desert. Along the way, you'll experience the freedom and rhythm that make long-distance touring on a Royal Enfield so rewarding.

En route, stop at the famous Bullet Baba Temple (Om Banna Shrine) near Pali, a unique place of pilgrimage dedicated to a Royal Enfield motorcycle. According to local legend, the motorcycle of Om Banna, a young Rajput who tragically lost his life in an accident, repeatedly returned to the accident site after being removed by the authorities. Today, riders from across India and around the world visit the shrine to seek blessings for a safe and trouble-free journey. For motorcycle enthusiasts, this has become an iconic and fascinating stop that perfectly celebrates the spirit of riding.

Continue your journey to the magnificent Blue City of Jodhpur, where you'll visit the imposing Mehrangarh Fort, one of India's largest and most spectacular hill forts. Rising dramatically above the city, the fort offers breathtaking panoramic views over Jodhpur's sea of blue-painted houses. Explore its grand courtyards, richly decorated palaces, impressive museums, and centuries of Rajput history before taking time to enjoy the lively atmosphere of this historic city.

In the late afternoon, continue your ride towards Phalodi, as the landscape gradually transforms into the open expanses of the Thar Desert. Watch the golden light of the setting sun illuminate the desert countryside, creating an unforgettable finale to the day's ride.

Arrive in Phalodi in the evening and check in to your hotel. Relax after an exhilarating day that combines thrilling wildlife, legendary motorcycling heritage, royal history, and some of Rajasthan's finest riding roads.

After breakfast, begin the day with a fascinating heritage walking tour of the historic desert town of Phalodi, one of Rajasthan's hidden gems. Unlike many of the state's well-known tourist destinations, Phalodi has retained its authentic character and traditional way of life, offering visitors a rare opportunity to experience everyday Rajasthan away from the crowds.

Stroll through its narrow lanes lined with beautifully preserved havelis, once owned by wealthy merchant families who prospered along the ancient caravan trade routes. Admire the intricate sandstone carvings, ornate balconies, elegant courtyards, and centuries-old architecture that reflect the town's rich trading heritage. Your guide will share stories of the merchants, local customs, and the history that shaped this remarkable desert settlement.

As you wander through the bustling local market, you'll experience the genuine warmth and hospitality of the people of Rajasthan. Since Phalodi receives relatively few international visitors, encounters with locals are natural and heartfelt. Shopkeepers and residents are often curious to meet travellers from around the world, eager to exchange a few words, learn about your journey, and occasionally ask for a photograph or a selfie. These spontaneous interactions provide an authentic cultural experience and often become some of the most memorable moments of the tour.

After the walking tour, return to your hotel to collect your luggage before mounting your Royal Enfield for the ride to Jaisalmer, the legendary Golden City of Rajasthan.

Today's ride follows a well-maintained National Highway, offering smooth and comfortable riding conditions. As you head west, the landscape gradually transforms into the vast expanse of the Thar Desert. The open road, endless horizons, scattered desert villages, grazing camels, and occasional herds of sheep create the perfect setting for an enjoyable and relaxing ride. With light traffic and long, sweeping stretches of road, this is an ideal day to settle into the rhythm of Royal Enfield touring and appreciate the unique beauty of Rajasthan's desert landscape.

Arrive in Jaisalmer by late afternoon, where the magnificent golden sandstone fort rises dramatically above the desert skyline. Check in to your hotel and spend the evening at leisure, soaking up the magical atmosphere of one of India's most captivating desert cities, ready to explore its rich history and timeless charm the following day. Overnight in Jaisalmer.

After a leisurely breakfast, discover the timeless beauty of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan's enchanting Golden City, whose honey-coloured sandstone architecture glows brilliantly in the morning sun. Accompanied by your expert guide, explore the magnificent Jaisalmer Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the very few "living forts" in the world, where thousands of residents continue to live and work within its ancient walls. Wander through its labyrinth of narrow lanes, vibrant bazaars, centuries-old homes, and artisan workshops, experiencing a unique blend of history and daily life.

Continue to the exquisitely carved Jain Temples, celebrated for their remarkable sandstone craftsmanship and intricate sculptures dating back to the 12th and 15th centuries. Your morning concludes with a visit to the magnificent Patwon Ki Haveli, the grandest and most elaborate of Jaisalmer's merchant mansions. Its beautifully carved façades, delicate balconies, and richly decorated interiors offer a fascinating insight into the wealth and artistic legacy of Rajasthan's prosperous trading families.

Following the city tour, it's time to experience the true spirit of Royal Enfield touring as you leave the city behind and ride into the heart of the Thar Desert. Avoiding the main highways, today's journey follows quiet country roads and remote desert tracks, offering a far more intimate and authentic experience of Rajasthan's extraordinary landscapes.

The route winds through isolated hamlets and traditional desert settlements, where life has changed little over generations. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to meet members of Rajasthan's nomadic and pastoral communities, whose colourful attire, warm smiles, and enduring traditions reflect the timeless character of the desert. Encounters with camel herders, shepherds, village elders, and local artisans provide genuine cultural exchanges that cannot be found in more commercial destinations.

A special highlight of the day is lunch with a local village family, where you will be welcomed into their home to enjoy a freshly prepared meal featuring traditional Rajasthani cuisine. Beyond the delicious food, this experience offers a rare opportunity to learn about rural desert life, local customs, and the remarkable resilience of communities that have thrived in this challenging environment for centuries.

During the afternoon, continue riding across the vast open landscapes of the Thar, covering approximately 80 kilometres through an ever-changing panorama of rolling sand dunes, hardy desert vegetation, grazing camels, and endless horizons. The open roads, peaceful surroundings, and dramatic scenery make this one of the most rewarding and memorable rides of the entire journey.

By late afternoon, arrive at your exclusive luxury desert camp, where the hospitality team will welcome you with traditional refreshments. Settle into your elegantly appointed tent and take time to relax as the golden light of sunset transforms the dunes into a breathtaking landscape of shifting colours.

As the evening unfolds, enjoy a gentle camel ride across the sand dunes, experiencing the timeless rhythm of desert travel while watching the sun disappear below the horizon. Returning to camp, gather under a canopy of stars for a memorable evening of fine dining accompanied by the captivating sounds of traditional Rajasthani folk musicians and the graceful performances of local folk dancers. The combination of exceptional hospitality, authentic cultural entertainment, and the tranquillity of the desert creates an unforgettable finale to an extraordinary day.

This is far more than a motorcycle ride—it is an immersive journey into the soul of the Thar Desert, combining adventure, culture, meaningful local encounters, and refined comfort in one of India's most magical landscapes.

After an early breakfast, begin your ride eastwards towards the magnificent Gajner Palace, leaving behind the golden dunes of Jaisalmer as you journey through the heart of Rajasthan's desert landscape.

Today's ride is one of the longest of the tour, covering approximately 330 kilometres, but the route is primarily along well-maintained national highways, making for a comfortable and enjoyable day's ride. The open roads, light traffic, and vast desert scenery provide the perfect setting to experience the effortless cruising ability of your Royal Enfield. As the kilometres unfold, you'll pass remote villages, camel caravans, grazing livestock, and the occasional desert oasis, offering a fascinating glimpse into life in Rajasthan's arid countryside.

There will be regular stops along the way to stretch your legs, enjoy refreshments, and capture photographs of the ever-changing landscape. Lunch will be served at a carefully selected local restaurant en route before continuing the journey towards Bikaner district.

By late afternoon, the scenery gradually changes as you approach Gajner, where dense woodlands and a tranquil lakeside setting create a striking contrast to the desert terrain you have travelled through. Arrive at the spectacular Gajner Palace, one of Rajasthan's finest heritage properties.

Originally built as the private hunting retreat of Maharaja Ganga Singh of Bikaner, Gajner Palace is set on the banks of a peaceful lake and surrounded by a protected wildlife sanctuary. The palace is renowned for its elegant Rajput architecture, beautifully landscaped gardens, intricately decorated interiors, and serene atmosphere. Once a favourite retreat for royalty and distinguished guests from around the world, it now offers a unique opportunity to experience Rajasthan's regal hospitality.

After checking into your beautifully appointed heritage room, the remainder of the evening is at leisure. You may choose to unwind with a drink overlooking the lake, stroll through the palace gardens, or simply relax and soak in the timeless elegance of this historic royal residence.

Wake up to the tranquil surroundings of Gajner Palace and enjoy a leisurely breakfast overlooking the lake before setting off on another memorable day of riding through the colourful landscapes of Rajasthan.

Leaving the former royal hunting retreat behind, ride through the open countryside towards Deshnok, home to one of India's most unusual and fascinating places of worship—the Karni Mata Temple, popularly known as the Rat Temple.

Dedicated to Karni Mata, a revered Hindu mystic believed to be an incarnation of the goddess Durga, the temple is famous for its thousands of sacred rats, locally known as kabbas. These rats are lovingly cared for and are considered holy by devotees, who believe they are the reincarnated descendants of Karni Mata's followers. Visitors from around the world come to witness this extraordinary tradition, making it one of Rajasthan's most unique cultural experiences. If you are fortunate, you may even spot one of the rare white rats, considered especially auspicious and a symbol of good fortune.

After exploring the temple and learning about its remarkable history and religious significance, continue your journey towards the enchanting town of Mandawa, travelling through the changing landscapes of the Shekhawati region. The ride follows a combination of smooth highways and quieter rural roads, passing colourful villages, mustard fields (seasonal), traditional farms, and bustling roadside markets. Along the way, you'll gain further insight into rural Rajasthan, where life continues at a gentle and unhurried pace.

Stop en route for lunch at a carefully selected local restaurant before continuing to Mandawa, often referred to as India's Open-Air Art Gallery.

Arrive by late afternoon and check in to your beautifully restored heritage hotel. Once an important stop on the ancient Silk Route, Mandawa flourished as a prosperous trading centre, and wealthy merchant families built magnificent havelis adorned with elaborate frescoes and decorative artwork. The town remains one of Rajasthan's finest examples of historic merchant architecture and offers a charming blend of history, culture, and heritage.

The remainder of the evening is free to relax within the elegant surroundings of your heritage hotel or enjoy a leisurely walk through the atmospheric streets of Mandawa, where beautifully painted mansions, intricately carved gateways, and centuries-old buildings transport visitors back to Rajasthan's golden trading era.

Today's ride combines scenic roads, fascinating cultural discoveries, and the opportunity to experience two of Rajasthan's most distinctive heritage destinations before another relaxing evening in royal surroundings.

After a leisurely breakfast, spend the day discovering the remarkable heritage of the Shekhawati region, often referred to as the world's largest open-air art gallery. This culturally rich area is renowned for its magnificent havelis, beautifully adorned with intricate frescoes that vividly depict scenes from mythology, royal life, trade, and the arrival of the British Raj. The extraordinary artwork and architecture found here make Shekhawati one of Rajasthan's most fascinating yet least-visited regions.

Begin with a guided walking tour of Mandawa, a charming 18th-century trading town that once flourished on the ancient caravan routes linking India with Central Asia. Wander through its narrow lanes lined with exquisitely painted merchant mansions, each showcasing elaborate murals, carved wooden doors, decorative balconies, and hidden courtyards. Your guide will explain the stories behind these remarkable frescoes and the wealthy Marwari merchant families who commissioned these architectural masterpieces.

The lively streets of Mandawa offer an authentic glimpse into everyday life in rural Rajasthan. Watch local artisans at work, browse traditional shops, observe bustling markets, and interact with friendly residents who continue to preserve the town's rich cultural heritage. Unlike many of Rajasthan's more famous destinations, Mandawa retains a relaxed atmosphere where visitors can explore at an unhurried pace.

Later, continue to the nearby town of Nawalgarh, regarded as one of the finest heritage towns in the Shekhawati region. Home to some of Rajasthan's most beautifully preserved havelis, Nawalgarh is an architectural treasure filled with grand merchant residences decorated with remarkably detailed frescoes and intricate craftsmanship. Visit a selection of these impressive mansions, where every wall and ceiling tells stories of India's trading history, mythology, European influences, and the aspirations of the prosperous merchant families who once dominated the region.

Enjoy lunch at a charming local heritage property before continuing your exploration of Nawalgarh's peaceful streets, where beautifully restored buildings stand alongside traditional homes, temples, and local markets. Throughout the day, there will be ample opportunities to meet local residents, observe traditional crafts, and capture photographs of one of India's most photogenic heritage regions.

Return to Mandawa in the late afternoon and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Relax in the elegant surroundings of your heritage hotel or take a final stroll through the atmospheric streets as the warm evening light enhances the colours of the town's famous frescoes.

After breakfast, enjoy the final ride of your Royal Enfield adventure as you travel from the heritage town of Mandawa back to Jaipur. The journey takes you through the colourful countryside of Rajasthan, passing traditional villages, agricultural landscapes, and bustling roadside towns, offering one last opportunity to savour the freedom of riding through this remarkable region.

Upon arrival in Jaipur, proceed to our local operations centre where you will return your Royal Enfield motorcycle. Our team will assist with the handover process, marking the official conclusion of your unforgettable motorcycle expedition across Rajasthan.

After saying farewell to your fellow riders and tour leaders, you will be transferred to Jaipur Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey to Delhi. Depending on your travel arrangements, you may choose to travel by a short domestic flight or by one of India's comfortable express trains.

On arrival in Delhi, connect with your international flight home, bringing to a close an extraordinary journey through the royal state of Rajasthan. Over the past days, you will have experienced magnificent forts and palaces, vibrant cities, remote villages, spectacular desert landscapes, the Aravalli Hills, rich cultural traditions, exceptional heritage hotels, and countless memorable encounters with the warm and welcoming people of India.

A wonderful journey that will be remembered
Our seven-day trip with India Personal Tours through northern India – with stops in Jaipur, Agra and Delhi – was a very special experience in every respect. From the warm welcome by our great guide Kunal Singh Shekhawat at the airport to the departure day we felt superbly looked after and accompanied by our guide as well as our friendly driver Vipin. From the very beginning, a very personal, warm atmosphere was created. It didn’t feel like a classic guided tour, but rather like traveling with a good friend. This openness, cordiality and attention has marked our journey from the beginning and has given it a special lightness. In addition to the many exciting insights into history, culture and architecture, it was above all the personal exchange that made this trip so enriching. The conversations, the small details and the fine sense of what interests us made every day special. We look back on this trip with great gratitude and can recommend India Personal Tours with complete conviction. It was an all-round successful experience and we very much hope that in the future there will be another opportunity to travel together.  ...Read More

What a ride through Rajasthan!
Far beyond anything we could have ever imagined for our first trip to India. We joined India Personal Tours, and a small group of like-minded folks, for an amazing 14-day ride through Rajasthan. An unbelievable itinerary took us to places we would never have found under our own steam, from the wonderful chaos of Dehli to small rural villages like Narlai and so many more mind-blowing towns and cities in between, there were unforgettable experiences at every turn. Each new hotel we arrived at seemed better than the last, and we often found ourselves awestruck at where we were staying. Our expert guide, Gudu was absolutely brilliant.
