Your adventure begins in Delhi before travelling to Ranthambore National Park, one of India's most famous wildlife sanctuaries. Set against the backdrop of ancient fort ruins, lakes, and rugged hills, Ranthambore offers excellent opportunities to spot the majestic Bengal tiger along with leopards, sloth bears, crocodiles, deer, and a rich variety of birdlife.

Continue to Bandhavgarh National Park, widely regarded as one of India's finest tiger reserves and known for its high density of tigers. The park's scenic valleys, bamboo forests, and rocky cliffs provide an ideal habitat for wildlife, making every safari an exciting experience.

Journey onward to the magnificent Kanha National Park, the inspiration behind Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book. With its vast grasslands, dense forests, and diverse ecosystems, Kanha is home to tigers, leopards, wild dogs, gaur, barasingha (swamp deer), and hundreds of bird species.

Itinerary

On arrival at Delhi airport our representative having a placard displaying your name will meet you to pick you up and transfer to your hotel. Today only an airport transfer is included and no sightseeing or any other visit is planned or included. If you arrive in Delhi early morning and wish to do sightseeing then kindly let us know and we shall do the needful and include a visit to Delhi attractions. Overnight at hotel in Delhi. 

Relaxed breakfast at hotel, followed by a full day guided tour to Old Delhi & New Delhi visiting Jama MasjidRaj GhatRed Fort and Chandni ChowkQutab MinarHumayun's TombIndia Gate (memorial to the Indian army soldiers who died in World War 1), Rashtrapati Bhawan (formerly the viceroy’s reseidence), Parliament house and Government buildings, and the Lakshminarayan Temple/Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Early morning after breakfast at the hotel transfer to railway station to board train to Sawai Madhopur. Train departs from Delhi at 7:10 and arrives at Sawai Madhopur Junction at 11:33 am.  Assistance on arrival by our local driver and transfer to your hotel in Ranthambore (25 minutes). Evening free at leisure. Ranthambore served once as hunting grounds for Maharaja of Jaipur. It is dry deciduous forests and open grassy meadow. It boasts a spectacular landscape filled with boulder-strewn highland plateaus, lakes and rivers-dotted with old forts and abandoned mosques- creating a wonderful ecosystem for both bird and mammal viewing.Overnight stay at the hotel.

Arrive at Jabalpur station a 8:30 am where you will be met by our representative. Drive to Bandhavgarh National Park, a wildlife retreat where history and nature meet. Bandhavgarh is set amidst the Vindhyan ranges. The park has a series of ridges running through it. This park was the former hunting preserve of the Maharaja of Rewa.The terrain is broken, with rocky hill ranges, running roughly east west, interspersed with grassy swamps and forested valleys. Morning after breakfast drive to Kanha Tiger Reserve. Kanha Tiger Reserve, comprising parts of the Mandla & Balaghat districts of Madhya Pradesh, and located in the "Maikal" hills of the Satpuras, is internationally renowned for its rich floral and faunal attributes. The Reserve is an excellent interspersion of the Dadars (flat hill tops), grassy expanses, dense forests and riverine forests. It is very rich in flora, largely due to the combination of landforms and soil types, apart from the moist character of the region. The rich habitat diversity of the Reserve supports a wide range of wildlife species along with innumerable lesser life forms, and is the sanctum sanctorum of many typical Central Indian fauna. Besides harbouring a viable population of the tiger, Kanha has distinguished itself in saving the endangered hard ground barasingha from extinction, and supporting the last world population of this deer species. Morning after breakfast drive from Kanha to Pench. The Pench Tiger Reserve is named after the Pench river, which flows from north to south through the Reserve. The Reserve is located in the southern reaches of the Satpura hill ranges in the Seoni and Chhindwara districts in Madhya Pradesh. The terrain is undulating, with most of the area covered by small hill ranges, steeply sloping on the sides. The park is known for its natural beauty, richness in flora and fauna. As the prey concentration is high along the Pench river, tigers usually inhabit this belt. Wild dogs are commonly seen in packs of 12 to 15, near Chhedia, Jamtara, Bodanala and Pyorthadi areas of the Reserve. Upon arrival in Pench transfer to hotel. Morning is free at leisure. In the afternoon drive to Nagpur airport to board flight to Delhi or Mumbai. Take connecting flight for your onward jounrey.

A wonderful journey that will be remembered

A Great First Trip to India

What a ride through Rajasthan!
  Far beyond anything we could have ever imagined for our first trip to India. We joined India Personal Tours, and a small group of like-minded folks, for an amazing 14-day ride through Rajasthan. An unbelievable itinerary took us to places we would never have found under our own steam, from the wonderful chaos of Dehli to small rural villages like Narlai and so many more mind-blowing towns and cities in between, there were unforgettable experiences at every turn. Each new hotel we arrived at seemed better than the last, and we often found ourselves awestruck at where we were staying. Our expert guide, Gudu was absolutely brilliant. Always on hand to share his wealth of knowledge and tips on each location - covering everything with a broad historical, cultural, architectural, gastronomical and spiritual perspective that made each new experience all the richer. Not a bad singing voice either! Gudu also had an uncanny knack for ‘herding the kittens’ of our group, his bright green beret and big smile became a beckon for us as we wandered through crowded temples, havelis and bazaars. He created a warm family atmosphere among our group, was flexible enough to tailor days for our group and even welcomed us into his own family home when we visited the Golden City of Jaisalmer. Big shout out to our unflappable driver, Dev too. The bus rides were super comfy, but I think we managed every to sample every other mode of transport possible too, from crazy rickshaws and tuk-tuk rides, to camels, elephants and even bullock drawn carts!I could go on and on, but we would thoroughly recommend India Personal Tours whether you’ve been to India before or it’s your first time.
