Day 1 – Arrive in New Delhi

On arrival at Delhi airport our representative having a placard displaying your name will meet you to pick you up and transfer to your hotel. Today only an airport transfer is included and no sightseeing or any other visit is planned or included. If you arrive in Delhi early morning and wish to do sightseeing then kindly let us know and we shall do the needful and include a visit to Delhi attractions and monuments. Overnight at hotel in Delhi.

Day 2 – Delhi visit

After breakfast visit of old and New Delhi.  With India Personal tours and your private tour guide you will get to see authentic and real Delhi. We will take you to Old Delhi where you will enjoy heritage walking tour. Old Delhi is fascinating and a total contrast to New Delhi. Shajahan the fifth Mughal emperor shifted his capital from Agra to Delhi. We start our walk through Silver street, Decoration market (Kinari Bazaar), Food street (Parathe wali Gali), Spice Market (Khari Baoli). It is Asia's biggest wholesale spice market. You will be mesmerized once you enter the market with the sight of various spices and dry fruits accompanied with a rich smell of each.

After we visit Old Delhi, drive to India Gate, a memorial to 70,000 soldiers who died during the First World War. Drive past Parliament house, President house. Later visit of Humayu's tomb and Qutab Minar. Both are classified as world heritage sites by UNESCO. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3 – Delhi – Jodhpur [By Flight 1h15]

After leisurely breakfast we will transfer you to Delhi airport. Fly to Jodhpur. Arrive at Jodhpur airport and meet our driver who will transfer you to hotel in Jodhpur.Later we will go to nearby Bishnoi villages and meet locals. The colours and sounds of Bishnoi villages are worth experiencing. The true ecologist Bishnois follow a set of 29 principals, which include several norms related to the protection of animals and conservation of trees. Your guide will tell you more about their culture, love for ecology and their customs. We will also stop at potters’and weavers villages near Salawas. Here you can enjoy tea and conversation with the women and the children of the village and take a peek into their mud houses whose interiors are cool even in the desert heat. There is something to learn from here about living in harmony with one’s surroundings; the villagers’ lives are environment friendly.  They use every scrap of waste, be it to decorate their homes or to make cots. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4 – Jodhpur

After leisurely breakfast visit of Jodhpur fort built in 15th century. Beneath the foundations of Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur lies the grave of a man who died to nullify a serious curse. Listen to the story from your personal tour guide on how Jodhpur was founded. After crossing few gates you will enter Iron Gate [Loha Pol]. There are around 15 handprint murals of the spouses of one of the former kings, Maharaja Man Singh. These handprints represent the women of the royal family who would commit sati [act of self-immolation] by burning themselves alive on their husband’s funeral pyre in the event of latter’s death or to escape dishonour by a victorious rival. After the visit of fort you will enjoy a heritage walking tour in blue city of Jodhpur.

To get up close and personal with Jodhpur’s famous blue houses, you’ll need to delve into the bylanes of Ghanta Ghar [clock tower]. Your personal knowledgeable tour guide will guide you around the nooks and crannies of the old city with ease. Our walking tour aims to highlight the city’s architecture and understanding the life of people living in Old city. During this walk one will get a chance to walk through old and narrow streets of the city and interact with locals. Overnight in Jodhpur.

Day 5 – Jodhpur – MihirGarh: Luxury in The Heart Of India's Thar Desert

After breakfast drive to MihirGarh. Located 55 km southwest of Jodhpur in the wilderness of the Thar Desert, MihirGarh stands proudly like a jewel in the desert. MihirGarh is one of the most fascinating remote luxury hotels in the world. It sits on a modest sand dune overlooking the sparse terrain of the Thar Desert. Its name translates to “fort of the sun.” Rest of the day is at leisure. Or enjoy facilities offered by hotel.

Day 6 – Mihir Garh– Udaipur

245 km
After breakfast drive to Udaipur. On the way visit of Bullet Baba Royal Enfield temple where a motorcycle is being garlanded and worshipped. Listen from your tour guide Spine-chilling story of a 350cc Royal Enfield that fulfils wishes. At this temple riders, truckers and people from across the country come to bow down for their happiness and safety. Further drive to Udaipur and on the way visit Ranakpur Jain temple.  Light colored marble has been used for the construction of this grand temple. The temple has 29 halls, 80 domes and the pavilions include 1444 pillars, each of them so intricately and artistically carved that they'll leave a lasting impression on you. The figures of dancing goddesses, beautifully engraved on these pillars are an absolute architectural wonder. The pillars are all differently carved and no two pillars are the same.
Continue drive towards Udaipur. Arrive and check into your hotel.

Day 7 – Udaipur visit – Venice of East

Udaipur, the City of Lakes has been ranked as the most beautiful city in the world. The city of Lakes, Udaipur is a lovely land around the azure water lakes, hemmed in by the lush hills of the Aravalis. A vision in white drenched in romance and beauty, Udaipur is a fascinating blend of sights, sounds and experiences - an inspiration for the imagination of the poets, painters and writers. Its kaleidoscope of fairy-tale palaces, lakes, temples, gardens and narrow lanes strewn with stalls, carry the flavour of heroic past, epitomising valour and chivalry.

You will visit the city palace, Jagdish temple, garden of maids. Enjoy a boat ride on the Lake Pichola. In the evening witness a cultural show in “Bagore Ki Haveli” You will get an introduction to a variety of Indian dances, such as the Mer, Samai, Kalbelia, and Banjara. Return to hotel for overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 8 – Udaipur - Shahpura Bagh: Relaxation in the lap of luxury

After breakfast drive to Shahpura Bagh. It is a beautiful hotel immersed in the lush terrain of Rajasthan. Day 9 – Shahpura Bagh

Day free at leisure or involve in various activities offered by hotel. There's a lot to do for the outdoor enthusiast. The Shahpura region has a rich varied landscape dotted with many man-made lakes, rustic original quaint villages and friendly innocent people un-spoilt by modernity. Whether you are drifting away in a boat surrounded by reeds, day dreaming on a comfortable charpoy at the farm, or just taking in the rural scenery, staying here will bring you the joys of "the simpler life of bygone ages".

Spontaneous excursions trace the history of the region through neighbouring forts and legends, rambles transform into safaris in the flash of a beckoning wing - the surrounding wetlands are a birdwatcher's paradise, tempting even to the uninitiated!

Day 10 – Shahpura Bagh – Jaipur

235 km
After breakfast drive to Jaipur. Arrive and check into your hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Or if you wish you could go and watch a Bollywood movie in famous Rajmandir Cinema Hall. This is not only a popula laldmark for locals, but also for travelllers from around the world. An ambience of a heritage palace has been created inside the viewing hall with rich velvet drapes around the gigantic screen. The high ceilings are ornamented with chandeliers. Atmosphere is electric as you see different emotions of Indian audience.

Day 11 – Jaipur

Jaipur, popular as the ‘Pink City’, is one of the most historic and colourful cities of India. Serving as the capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur is home to some architectural marvels like City Palace and Amer Fort and people from all over, visit the city to witness these beauties. Why is it called pink city ?well, the story goes that in 1876, the Prince of Wales visited India on a tour. Since the colour pink was symbolic of hospitality, Maharaja Ram Singh of Jaipur painted the entire city pink. The pink that colours the city makes for a marvellous spectacle to behold. Jaipur rises up majestically against the backdrop of the forts Nahargarh, Jaigarh and Garh Ganesh Temple.

Day 12 – Jaipur – Agra

235 km
After breakfast drive to Agra. On the way visit of Abhaneri Step well. It is one of the largest stepwells in the world and also one of the most beautiful ones. Stepwells, also called bawdi or baori, are unique to this nation.  The wells have steps built into the sides that lead down to the water. Chand Baori [Abhaneri] was built during the 8th and 9th centuries and has 3,500 narrow steps arranged in perfect symmetry, which descend 20m to the bottom of the well. Centuries ago, the stepwells were built in the arid zones of Rajasthan to provide water all year through. About 64 feet deep, it is India's largest and deepest stepwells with 13 floors and was built in the 9th century for water harvesting. Continue drive to Agra. Just before reaching Agra you will visit Fatehpur Sikir an imperial city founded by 3rd Mughal king Akbar. Arrive and check into your hotel.

Day 13 – Agra – Delhi – Abroad

Early morning sunrise visit of Taj Mahal. (Taj Mahal is closed on Friday. In December and January due to heavy fog you may not have a proper sunrise view of Taj Mahal. Please consult with your tour guide and he will suggest you what would be the best time to visit the Taj Mahal on that particular day). Return to hotel for breakfast and shower. Check out. Then visit of Agra fort built by Akbar and expended by his grandson Shahjahan. Later in the afternoon drive to Delhi airport. Or as per your flight departure time stay a night near the airport before you take your flight back home next day.

  • In December and January months sometimes there is a heavy fog in North India hence sunrise visit of Tajmahal may not be possible.

He is not allowed to enter the monuments and guide the tourists as in India one must have a valid guide license from tourism department to be able to guide tourist inside the monuments.
  • Your driver will take you to the monuments and sites of interests. He will also help you and show ticketing window to buy the entry tickets for monuments and attractions you wish to visit. Any other relevant information that you may wish to have will happily be shared with you by your tour driver. Tour driver is not a tour guide in India.
