Day 1 – Arrive in New Delhi

On arrival at Delhi airport our representative having a placard displaying your name will meet you to pick you up and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at hotel in Delhi.

Tour or Old Delhi Spice Market Day 2 – Old and New Delhi sightseeing

After breakfast at hotel we will go to Old Delhi and enjoy Old Delhi heritage walking tour. We start our walk through Silver street, Decoration market (Kinari Bazaar), Food street (Parathe wali Gali), Spice Market (Khari Baoli). It is Asia's biggest wholesale spice market. You will be mesmerized once you enter the market with the sight of various spices and dry fruits accompanied with a rich smell of each.

After we visit Old Delhi, drive to India Gate, a memorial to 70,000 soldiers who died during the First World War. Drive past Parliament house, President house. Later visit of Humayun's tomb and Qutab Minar. Both are classified as world heritage sites by UNESCO. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3 – Delhi - Amritsar [By Train / Flight option is also available]

In the morning your private driver will transfer you to New Delhi railway station. Board express train to Amritsar at 7:20 am. On board you will be served breakfast and mineral water. Arrive at Amritsar railway station at 13:30 h. Our local driver will come and meet you right outside the coach on the platform. Transfer to hotel. Relax. Then in the evening enjoy a walking tour in Amritsar. Your tour guide will take you to narrow lanes and small streets of the 400 years old city of Amritsar. Interact with locals, see old structures, intricately carved wooden facades, Havelis [mansion]. Later you will visit Golden temple at night and witness the Palki Sahib ceremony. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4 – Wagah Border Visit

After breakfast visit of Golden temple in the morning. Sikh religion is like a democracy and anyone rule it. Women have equal rights and can even be the head of the religion. The temple is built on a 67 ft square of marble and is a two storied structure. Upper half was built by Maharaja Ranjit Singh with approximately 400 kg of gold leaf. Your personal tour guide will explain you about rich history of Sikh religion and Golden temple. After the visit of Golden temple visit of Jallianwala bagh, a memorial which holds the national importance. In 1919 General Dyer opened the fire on people who gathered here to fight for India's freedom. The walls still have mark of those bullets fired on innocent people. Late in the afternoon drive to Wagah border. Every single day a special retreat ceremony is held at the border, which is no less than a spellbinding event. Return to hotel for overnight stay in Amritsar.

Day 5 – Amritsar – Mahajan

After breakfast drive to Mahajan. Once you enter into Rajasthan you will see geography changes. On the way have you lunch at Hanumangarh town. Further drive to Mahajan. Arrive and check into your hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure after a long drive. Overnight in heritage hotel Fort Malagarh.

Day 6 – Mahajan

After a leisurely breakfastwe will take you to walk through streets and lanes of Mahajan village. As a famous travel writer once said, the real India lives in the villages. No visit to India is completed without visiting rural areas and unexplored hidden villages like Mahajan.

You'll get to interact with the villagers, taste their cuisine, witness their ceremonies, and know their customs and traditions. This little village has all to offer that could take you back to old era. Enjoy a bullock or camel cart ride, go to nearby sand dunes and feel the serenity of nature. In the late afternoon we will take you to homes of Meghwal community to show you women empowerment project which is being run with the help of local authorities and owners of Malagarh fort.Overnight stay at Malagarh fort.

Day 7 – Mahajan – Bikaner – Bawari village

After breakfast drive to Bikaner. Arrive and visit of Fort Junagarhbuilt in 16thcentury. The fort has several temples, pavilions and palaces covering an area of 5.28 hectares. After the visit drive towards Bawari village. Arrive and check into village chief villa.In the evening visit a nearby temple and enjoy the sunset from top of a hill. Overnight.

Day 8 – Bawari village – Jaisalmer

After breakfast go to Kheechan and see demoiselle cranes that visit here every winter. Drive to Jaisalmer the golden city. Arrive and check into your hotel.

Day 9 – Jaisalmer

After breakfast visit the city. Walk up to the Jaisalmer fort, through the narrows streets dotted with temples & havelis. You will visit the fort, Gadisar Lake, famous havelis and Bada Bagh. In the evening drive to Sam dunes to see the sun set. Also enjoy camel ride at the dues. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Jaisalmer. (It is also possible to stay overnight in tented accommodation in Thar Desert. Tents are only operational between Oct to March).

Day 10 – Jaisalmer – Jodhpur

After breakfast drive to Jodhpur. On the way visit of Osiyan temple. The Sachiya Mata temple was built in 8th century while the present temple is said to date back to the 12th century. The temple interiors are decorated with beautiful images from Hindu Pantheon. The human figures engraved on the temple include those of Gods and Goddesses that are reminiscent of the languid grace in the carvings of Khajuraho and the sun temple at Konerko. Continue drive to Jodhpur. On the way visit of Mandore Gardens before entering into Jodhpur city. Arrive and check into your hotel. Overnight in Jodhpur.

Day 11 – Jodhpur – Beda [Jawai] The Leopard Country

After breakfast visit of Mehrangarh fort. Beneath the foundations of Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur lies the grave of a man who died to nullify a serious curse. Hear the story from your personal tour guide. Mehrangarh fort is one of the largest forts in India. The fort was founded in 1459 AD. You will visit several palaces in the fort. After the visit drive to Beda the leopard country. Arrive and check into your hotel. Overnight.

Day 12 – Beda – Ranakpur – Udaipur

Bera (Beda) is an adventurer’s retreat snuggled in Aravalli ranges that offers a tranquil and beautiful backdrop to stay in this one of the country’s most popular leopard getaway destinations. Early morning enjoy a Jeep safari to spot the leopards. Return to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast drive to Udaipur. On the way visit of Ranakpur Jain temple. Temple was built in 15th century and known for 1444 intricately carved pillars, 24 pillared halls accompanied by 80 domes which are borne by 400 columns. Continue drive towards Udaipur. Arrive and check into your hotel. Overnight in Udaipur.

Day 13 – Udaipur Visit

After breakfast visit of Udaipur city. First of all visit the Jagdish temple in the old city. The three story temple is built on a raised platform flaunting carved pillars, halls and painted walls. You will notice two massive elephants installed at the entrance to welcome the guests. Later visit the city Palace now converted into a museum. You will see various palaces inside the city palace. City Palace is second largest palace complex in India after Mysore Palace in the South of India.

Later visit of garden of maids. King built this beautiful garden for his queen and her 48 maidens. The garden was built as a relexatation and rejuvenation spot for the Royal ladies. In the evening don't forget to watch folk dance performance at "Bagore Ki Haveli"The haveli comes to life with multi-coloured lights in the evening and hosts one of the best shows in Rajasthan. It is a nightly show of colourful, energetic Mewari, Bhil and western Rajasthani dances, performed by talented Rajasthani dancers and musicians. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 14 – Udaipur - Pushkar

After breakfast drive to Pushkar. It is one of the oldest cities in India. Pushkar is surrounded by hillocks on three sides. It has Lord Bramha temple which is the only temple in the world dedicated to Lord Brahma.

Visit of Pushkar Lake, Brahma temple, Varaha Temple and Rangji temple. Enjoy a walk in vibrant and colourful market of Pushkar town. Overnight in Pushkar.

Day 15 – Pushkar – Jaipur

155km

After breakfast drive to Jaipur. The capital city of colourful state of Rajasthan. Jaipur is considered as first planned city of India. It was founded by Jai Singh II in 1727 AD. He shifted his capital from Amber to the new city because of increasing population and lack of water in Amber. Arrive and check into your hotel. Rest of the is at leisure of go to main bazaar and do some shopping. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 16 – Jaipur

in 1799 as a summer retreat for royal family members. While unwinding themselves royal ladies could observe everyday life without being seen by outsiders. It has five story structure with small latticed windows. Drive to Amber Palace. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in 16th century by Raja Man Singh it has now become the most prominent monument of Jaipur to be visited by tourists. You will see Hall of Public Audience, Ganesh Gate, Sun Gate, Moon Gate, Jaleb Chowk [Main Courtyard], King's Quarters, the zenana [where royal women lived], garden and most magnificent Sheesh Mahal [Mirror Palace]. Return to Jaipur city center and enjoy a heritage walking tour of Old city. Your guide will take you hidden corners or old city. Meet the locals and interact with them. This walking tour will give you an opportunity to enhance your understand about Jaipur city and daily lives of people in India. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 17 – Jaipur –Abhaneri –Agra

After breakfast drive to Agra. On the way visit of Chand Baori [step well]. In was built in 9th century by King Chanda. This step well was built to conserve and provide respite from the scorching heat in the area. You will see 3500 perfectly symmetrical narrow steps and three storeyed pavilion with intricately carved windows. Continue drive towards Agra. Arrive and check into your hotel. Overnight in Agra.

Day 18 – Agra – Delhi airport – Abroad

Early morning sunrise visit of Taj Mahal. (In December and January due to heavy fog you may not have a proper sunrise view of Taj Mahal).From the parking you will get on an electric vehicle until you reach the main entrances of the Tajmahal. Return to hotel for breakfast and shower. Check out. Then visit of Agra fort built by Mughal emperor Akbar. Drive to Delhi international airport. Fly back home.

  • In December and January months sometimes there is a heavy fog in North India hence sunrise visit of Taj Mahal may not be possible.

He is not allowed to enter the monuments and guide the tourists as in India one must have a valid guide license from tourism department to be able to guide tourist inside the monuments.
  • Your driver will take you to the monuments and sites of interests. He will also help you and show ticketing window to buy the entry tickets for monuments and attractions you wish to visit. Any other relevant information that you may wish to have will happily be shared with you by your tour driver. Tour driver is not a tour guide in India.
  • In Delhi car and driver will be available ideally between 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. In rest all other places driver will be available on disposal basis and you may also ask him to take you to restaurants for dinner. To have vehicle on disposal in Delhi kindly request the same at the time of asking for tour quotation and we will be happy to include this.
