Day 1 – Arrive in New Delhi

On arrival at Delhi airport our representative having a placard displaying your name will meet you to pick you up and transfer to your hotel. Today only an airport transfer is included and no sightseeing or any other visit is planned or included. If you arrive in Delhi early morning and wish to do sightseeing then kindly let us know and we shall do the needful and include a visit to Delhi attractions and monuments. Overnight at hotel in Delhi.

Day 2 – Delhi visit

After breakfast visit of old and New Delhi.  With India Personal tours and your private tour guide you will get to see authentic and real Delhi. We will take you to Old Delhi where you will enjoy heritage walking tour. Old Delhi is fascinating and a total contrast to New Delhi. Shajahan the fifth Mughal emperor shifted his capital from Agra to Delhi. We start our walk through Silver street, Decoration market (Kinari Bazaar), Food street (Parathe wali Gali), Spice Market (Khari Baoli). It is Asia's biggest wholesale spice market. You will be mesmerized once you enter the market with the sight of various spices and dry fruits accompanied with a rich smell of each.

After we visit Old Delhi, drive to India Gate, a memorial to 70,000 soldiers who died during the First World War. Drive past Parliament house, President house. Later visit of Humayu's tomb and Qutab Minar. Both are classified as world heritage sites by UNESCO. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3 – Delhi – Agra

205 km
After breakfast visit of Lotus temple and Gandhi memorial in Delhi. Then depart for Agra. Arrive and check into your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 4 – Agra visit

Early morning sunrise visit of Taj Mahal. (Taj Mahal is closed on Friday. In December and January due to heavy fog you may not have a proper sunrise view of Taj Mahal. Please consult with your tour guide and he will suggest you what would be the best time to visit the Taj Mahal on that particular day). Taj Mahal was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Emperor Shah Jahan, who commissioned the construction of ‘The Taj’, desired to create it also as a symbol of solemnity, harmony, purity and spirituality. Return to hotel for breakfast and shower. Then visit of Agra fort built by Akbar and expended by his grandson Shahjahan. Also visit moonlight garden and Baby Taj.

Day 5 – Agra – Ranthambore

290 km
After breakfast drive to Ranthambore. On the way visit of imperial city Fatehpur Sikri. [city of victory]. Nestled on a ridge of the Vindhya mountain range, it represents a unique architectural experiment of the Mughals. Declared a World Heritage Site in 1986, it remains frozen in time and space. You will visit various palaces inside the main complex. After the visit drive to Ranthambore. Arrive and check into your hotel.

Day 6 – Ranthambore: Encounter with big cats

Ranthambore National Park features an excellent variety of wildlife amidst dry scrublands and fortress ruins. Today, the Park covers an area of 1334 square kilometre.Animals found here are leopards, striped hyenas, common or hanuman langurs, rhesus macaques, jackals, jungle cats, caracals, blackbuck, Blacknaped hare and chinkara, etc.

You will enjoy 2 jungle safari in a sharing Jypsy which will have total 6 travellers in it. Overnight in Ranthambore hotel.

Day 7 – Ranthambore – Amanbagh

After breakfast drive to Amanbagh. Day 8 – Amanbagh– Jaipur

After breakfast drive to Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan known as Pink City.
In India’s Pink City, the streets are filled with palaces, temples and, sometimes, cows. Street markets are awash in color and handicrafts, and Hindu temples can be found nearly every 100 yards.The fortified city of Jaipur was founded in 1727 by Sawai Jai Singh II. Jaipur was established on the plain and built according to a grid plan interpreted in the light of Vedic architecture. Jaipur is believed to be the first planned city of India. Arrive and check into hotel. In the evening you will visit Govind Dev ji temple and witness the prayer ceremony. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 9 – Jaipur

Visit of Hawa Mahal, also known as ‘Palace of Winds’, was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799 A.D. There are 953 small windows in the palace, known as ‘Jharokhas’. The reason for the king to build this palace was to let the royal ladies see the streets of the city and observe day-to-day life without being seen by any outsider. Then you will visit Amber Palace located 11 km from Jaipur. The Amber Palace houses palaces, gardens, halls and temples which were built by Raja Man Singh, Raja Jai Singh and Sawai Jai Sing II. Day 11 – Jaipur – Mumbai by flight -1h55

After breakfast we will transfer you to Jaipur airport and fly to Mumbai. On arrival at Mumbai airport you will be met by our local driver who will transfer you to your hotel in Mumbai. In the evening enjoy a food tour.
Enjoy the delectable flavour of the most exotic food available in the island city of India, Mumbai. Mumbai exotic foods render fantastic taste. Throughout the tour, you can savour the cuisine of various sections of India and some regional specialities of the city. This tour will give you a chance to relive the history, art and culture and taste on the exotic foodstuff of Mumbai, alongside. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 12 – Mumbai visit

After breakfast take a city tour. Mumbai, the city where dreams are made and fulfilled! From jam-packed railway platforms to the famous Dabbawalas, multi-millionaires to suburban slums, the dazzling Bollywood to the quintessential vadapav, bhel puri, and sev puri, the uniqueness of Mumbai is beyond words. Visit of Gateway of India, Dhobi Ghat [open air laundry], Mani Bhawan, CST. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Mumbai.

Day 13 – Mumbai – Delhi by flight 2h10

After breakfast we will transfer you to Mumabi airport to fly back to Delhi. Connecting flight back home.
Alternatively you could also take your flight back home from Mumbai. In this case your arrival city in India should be New Delhi and departure will be from Mumbai.

  • Driving time is given approximately and may vary depending on various factors on the day of travel.
  • If your travel dates are falling between 15th Dec to 15th Jan: Cost does not include mandatory dinner supplement on X mas and New Year eve and also peak period supplement for hotels.
  • In December and January months sometimes there is a heavy fog in North India hence sunrise visit of Tajmahal may not be possible.
  • Above itinerary is indicative and you are not obliged to follow as it mentions. Your tour driver or tour guide will be totally flexible to plan sightseeing in each city as per your convenience and desire.
  • You can always add or remove monuments and attractions of your interests after the discussion with your tour driver or tour guide.
  • In case you don’t opt for a tour guide: Your tour driver will remain in the parking while you visit the monuments. He is not allowed to enter the monuments and guide the tourists as in India one must have a valid guide license from tourism department to be able to guide tourist inside the monuments.
  • Your driver will take you to the monuments and sites of interests. He will also help you and show ticketing window to buy the entry tickets for monuments and attractions you wish to visit. Any other relevant information that you may wish to have will happily be shared with you by your tour driver. Tour driver is not a tour guide in India.
