You will then be escorted to your private vehicle for a comfortable transfer to your hotel.

Please note that today's arrangements include only the airport transfer, and no sightseeing or additional excursions are scheduled. Should you arrive in Delhi during the early morning and wish to explore the city's iconic attractions, we would be delighted to arrange a private sightseeing tour at an additional cost or incorporate it into your itinerary upon request. Overnight stay at your hotel in Delhi.

After breakfast, depart by road for Agra, the historic city that served as the capital of the Mughal Empire for several generations.

Upon arrival in Agra, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax before beginning your afternoon sightseeing.

Later, visit the magnificent Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the finest examples of Mughal architecture in India. Built primarily of red sandstone by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century and later enhanced by his successors, the fort houses a remarkable collection of palaces, audience halls, courtyards, and mosques. Continue to Mehtab Bagh, a beautifully restored Mughal garden situated on the opposite bank of the Yamuna River. Laid out in the classic Persian-style charbagh design, the garden offers one of the most spectacular panoramic views of the Taj Mahal. From this tranquil setting, admire the changing colours of the marble monument as the light softens towards evening, creating exceptional photographic opportunities and a unique perspective of India's most iconic landmark across the river.

Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Agra.

This morning, rise early for a sunrise visit to the magnificent Taj Mahal, undoubtedly one of the world's most celebrated architectural masterpieces and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Return to your hotel for breakfast and depart by road for Jaipur, the vibrant capital of Rajasthan, renowned for its rich royal heritage, magnificent forts, and colorful traditions.

En route, visit Abhaneri, a small village famous for the remarkable Chand Baori stepwell, one of the largest and deepest stepwells in India. Dating back over a thousand years, this architectural marvel features a striking geometric design with thousands of perfectly symmetrical steps descending to the water below. Admire the ingenuity of this ancient water-harvesting structure, which served both practical and social purposes for the local community.

Following your visit, continue onward to Jaipur, popularly known as the "Pink City." Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Jodhpur, the historic Blue City of Rajasthan, renowned for its magnificent forts, vibrant bazaars, and rich Rajput heritage. The journey takes you through the picturesque countryside of Rajasthan, passing traditional villages, rolling farmlands, and rugged desert landscapes.

Upon arrival, begin your sightseeing with a visit to the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest and most spectacular forts in India. Perched on a 125-metre-high rocky hill overlooking the blue-painted houses of the old city, the fort offers breathtaking panoramic views of Jodhpur. Explore its impressive palaces, beautifully carved courtyards, museums, and galleries displaying an outstanding collection of royal artefacts, weapons, textiles, paintings, and palanquins. Your guide will share fascinating stories about the Rathore rulers and the fort's rich history, bringing the grandeur of Marwar to life.

After the fort visit, transfer to your hotel and check in. The remainder of the evening is free at leisure.

Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive towards Udaipur, the romantic City of Lakes. En route, visit the magnificent Ranakpur Jain Temples, one of the finest examples of Jain architecture in India and among Rajasthan's most treasured monuments.

Nestled in the tranquil Aravalli Hills, the 15th-century temple complex is dedicated to Tirthankara Adinath, the first Jain Tirthankara. Admire the extraordinary marble craftsmanship featuring 1,444 intricately carved pillars, each with a unique design, along with exquisitely sculpted ceilings, ornate domes, and beautifully decorated halls. Your guide will explain the temple's history, religious significance, and the remarkable artistry that makes Ranakpur one of India's greatest architectural masterpieces.

After exploring the temple complex, continue your scenic drive through the picturesque Aravalli countryside to Udaipur.

Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. You may choose to relax at the hotel or take a leisurely stroll around the nearby area to experience the charm of this beautiful lakeside city.

Overnight stay in Udaipur.

After breakfast, begin your exploration of Udaipur, often referred to as the "City of Lakes" and one of India's most romantic destinations. Surrounded by the Aravalli Hills and adorned with magnificent palaces, tranquil lakes, and ornate temples, Udaipur offers a captivating blend of history, culture, and natural beauty.

Your first visit is to the magnificent City Palace, the largest palace complex in Rajasthan.

Continue to the beautiful Jagdish Temple, located just outside the City Palace. Dating back to the 17th century, this impressive Indo-Aryan temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is renowned for its finely carved pillars, sculpted ceilings, and detailed stonework.

Later, visit the serene Saheliyon Ki Bari (Garden of the Maidens), a delightful royal garden created for the queens and ladies of the royal household. Stroll through its lush lawns, marble pavilions, lotus pools, and charming fountains that provide a peaceful retreat from the bustling city.

In the late afternoon, proceed to Lake Pichola for a memorable boat cruise. Glide across the shimmering waters while admiring the breathtaking scenery surrounding the lake. Pass by the world-famous Lake Palace, seemingly floating on the water, as well as Jag Mandir Island Palace and the historic ghats lining the lake. The cruise offers some of the most spectacular views in all of Rajasthan, particularly as the sun begins to set.

After exploring the bazaar, return to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure.

Overnight stay in Pushkar.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Delhi Airport for your onward international flight. The journey takes you through the scenic countryside of Rajasthan and Haryana before arriving in the national capital.

A wonderful journey that will be remembered
Our seven-day trip with India Personal Tours through northern India – with stops in Jaipur, Agra and Delhi – was a very special experience in every respect. From the warm welcome by our great guide Kunal Singh Shekhawat at the airport to the departure day we felt superbly looked after and accompanied by our guide as well as our friendly driver Vipin. From the very beginning, a very personal, warm atmosphere was created. It didn’t feel like a classic guided tour, but rather like traveling with a good friend. This openness, cordiality and attention has marked our journey from the beginning and has given it a special lightness. In addition to the many exciting insights into history, culture and architecture, it was above all the personal exchange that made this trip so enriching. The conversations, the small details and the fine sense of what interests us made every day special. We look back on this trip with great gratitude and can recommend India Personal Tours with complete conviction. It was an all-round successful experience and we very much hope that in the future there will be another opportunity to travel together.  ...Read More

A Great First Trip to India
India Personal Tours made our first trip to India exceptional. We visited six cities over two weeks, most in Rajasthan, and our guides and drivers -- all friendly and caring -- made sure we got the most out of every site, including some unplanned stops. The hotels Manu and his team chose for us were all also first rate. The company met all our expectations, and we're already planning a trip back!  ...Read More

What a ride through Rajasthan!
Far beyond anything we could have ever imagined for our first trip to India. We joined India Personal Tours, and a small group of like-minded folks, for an amazing 14-day ride through Rajasthan. An unbelievable itinerary took us to places we would never have found under our own steam, from the wonderful chaos of Dehli to small rural villages like Narlai and so many more mind-blowing towns and cities in between, there were unforgettable experiences at every turn. Each new hotel we arrived at seemed better than the last, and we often found ourselves awestruck at where we were staying. Our expert guide, Gudu was absolutely brilliant. Always on hand to share his wealth of knowledge and tips on each location - covering everything with a broad historical, cultural, architectural, gastronomical and spiritual perspective that made each new experience all the richer. Not a bad singing voice either! Gudu also had an uncanny knack for ‘herding the kittens’ of our group, his bright green beret and big smile became a beckon for us as we wandered through crowded temples, havelis and bazaars. He created a warm family atmosphere among our group, was flexible enough to tailor days for our group and even welcomed us into his own family home when we visited the Golden City of Jaisalmer. Big shout out to our unflappable driver, Dev too. The bus rides were super comfy, but I think we managed every to sample every other mode of transport possible too, from crazy rickshaws and tuk-tuk rides, to camels, elephants and even bullock drawn carts!I could go on and on, but we would thoroughly recommend India Personal Tours whether you’ve been to India before or it’s your first time. Halfway through our travels we were already planning our next trip.  ...Read More
